The Hotel Barceló Solymar is an all-inclusive resort located right next to the Hotel Arenas Blancas, with which it forms a complex.

Guests staying at Solymar are able to enjoy all the facilities and services of its neighbor Arenas Blancas; the beach, pools, restaurants (except buffet table) and bars.

The two hotels communicate with each other and are surrounded by beautiful gardens, they are located on the first line of the beautiful beach of Varadero, with more than 20 km of fine sand and crystalline waters, and very close to the attractions of the center, which can be visited on foot, as the town is about 200 meters away.

Barceló Solymar features a main building with 332 rooms distributed over 4 floors, and bungalows with 193 rooms in 2-story buildings.

The rooms are functional, with balconies or terraces offering views of the sea, pools or gardens. Those on the upper floors have some advantages (sea views and tranquility), as well as the bungalows offer more privacy and a cozy environment.

The gastronomy offers varied options; the buffets and snack bars during the day and the à la carte restaurants mainly at night.

Many activities are organized during the day in different areas of the complex; the pools, the beach, the game room. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, large shaded areas to relax, and countless sports and activities. The facility has 2 tennis courts and a multi-sport court, 3 outdoor swimming pools, and a children's playground.

Guests can enjoy the Havana Club nightclub ($) at Hotel Allegro Palma Real (near the Solymar).
