Most Important fortified square in Old Havana that hosted the headquarters of the civil and military authorities in the stage of the colony in Cuba.

From here you can see the monument El Templete, site of the first mass held and the first chapter in Havana in 1519. The statue to the Father of the Homeland Carlos Manuel de Cespedes is on this square.
