One of the oldest private restaurants in the city of Santiago de Cuba. It is located in the quarter known as “30 de November”, which explains why the site is commonly referred to as “La Paladar del 30” by the locals.

One can access the restaurant by climbing to the rooftop of a building where the client will be able to choose between eating in the open air or to do so in an indoors space fairly conditioned by its owners. The latter variant of enjoying one’s meal inside is the most sought after in the daylight hours as the sun heavily castigates the city of Santiago.

The food is of excellent quality and is very well served with the plates finely garnished. The restaurant’s specialty is traditional Cuban food but it also allows for varieties of international cuisine like Mediterranean and in particular Italian cookery.

We recommend you always reserve ahead of your visit since this site is usually very frequented by visitors to the city.
