Built in the decade of the 1950s, the Marina Hemingway covers some 600,000m2 and its 4 navigation canals and 5 connecting canals can harbor as much as 4 hundred vessels, and even provide conditions for life on board to as much as two hundred boats guaranteeing the indispensable basic services.

The Marina Hemingway hosts the well-known deep sea fishing tournament "Ernest Hemingway" on a yearly basis, as well as those of the Blue Marlin and the Wahoo.
