Restaurant Doña Barbara is a pleasing spot quite close to Guardalavaca, one of the best beaches in eastern Cuba and very near Chorro de Maita, another of the main tourist attractions in the province. It presents a service à la carte of Cuban and international cuisine.
The Restaurant Doña Barbara specializes mainly in seafood fare captured fresh in their own locality, its most noteworthy dish (the house specialty) is the “Tres del Mar” (Three from the Sea): a plate comprised of three types of grilled shellfish with a side dish of chicharritas (fried plantain chips), vegetables and congrí (rice cooked with red or black beans).
It also features a well stocked bar offering a wide range of cocktails as well as national and international beverages.
