Among the various dive sites in Santa Lucia is The Shark Point. At 30 meters deep, sharks are seen of 2 and 3 meters long. During the dive the dicing instructors hand feed the sharks as part of the show.
The specialized diving center takes the name of Shark’s Friends and is operated by St. Lucia Cubanacan Naútica. Instructors are certified ACUC and have a daily capacity of 50 divers. They count with 2 boats of up to 10 divers each and a SUB-41 for 22 divers, 60 tanks, first aid equipment etc…
In general the place has over 35 diving sites of between 7 and 34 meters depth including reef diving, wall, wreck, cave diving, night dives, open water courses and more.
Among the wrecks are the New Mortera and Our Lady Virgin of Altagracia.
