Waterfall Caburní

The Caburní waterfall lies within the Topes de Collantes National Park. It constitutes the highest waterfall of the whole Caribbean region thanks to its 64 meters in height.

The site offers the possibility of hiking, since the path toward the “falls” is made on foot and continues for an hour along a footpath that permits one to take in the lush and varied vegetation indigenous of those mountainous zones of the country, in addition to appreciating the large amount of birds species on sight.

At the end of the stretch, the visitor can bathe in the wide and deep pools that have formed in this spot surrounded by mountains, and further down the path one arrives the great cascade.
