The Karl Marx Theater, formerly the Blanquita Theater, is the largest theater in Cuba with a capacity for 5,500 spectators.
It has two rooms: the main one, which is the venue for great galas and political, social and cultural events such as musical, humorous, group recitals, soloists, both national and foreign, as well as a varied program for children and young people and the "Sala Atril" that has capacity for 120 people, so it is designed for small-format artistic performances.
Both rooms have advanced technology in lights, sounds and video projection.
