Samaná is a peninsula in the northeast of the Dominican Republic and is approximately 100 kilometers away from Punta Cana. It is a quiet destination, of spectacular beauty with beautiful beaches full of coconut trees, white sands and turquoise waters.

The bay is the starting point for daily boat excursions to Los Haitises Park, Cayo Levantado and expeditions to see thousands of humpback whales between January and March. It is also a popular attraction for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts.

During your visit to the Bay, you will also be able to visit places such as Las Terrenas, El Salto del Limón, the Bridges of Samaná, Las Galeras and the capital of the Santa Bárbara de Samaná province.

All the beaches on this peninsula are very attractive but stand out for their landscape Playa El Valle, surrounded by mountains and beautiful vegetation, and Playa Rincón, one of the most visited for its incredible beauty.
