This cenote with crystal clear waters is 250 meters long and is located in front of the Caribbean Sea, next to the Tankha residential area. Its name is due to the fact that it was home to a large number of these animals but the human presence has caused them to move from the area.

It is an easily accessible open cenote, with a depth of 6 meters and is connected to the sea through underwater caves, so you will appreciate a great fauna of both fresh and salt water fish.

It is ideal for snorkeling, kayaking, swimming or diving, and exploring caves. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the moment when the salty waters of the sea meet the sweet ones, known as the halocline phenomenon.
