Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, right on Fifth Avenue is this simple little white-fronted church. It was built in 1960 by the first families in the region to venerate the patron saint of fishermen. It is also known as Capillita de la Quinta.

Its altar is built keeping in its back a window with a view of the sea and to the side you can see the stone niche with an image of the Virgin of Carmen.

In this Parish Masses are held at different times, baptisms, marriages, among other celebrations.
