Cancun Maya Museum

Consisting of three rooms, two for permanent exhibitions and one for temporary exhibitions, this museum, which has 350 pieces, will allow you to learn about the life and customs of the Mayan civilization through different archaeological collections, utensils, ritual and mortuary objects that It is shown in it, not only in the State of Quintana Roo, since there are also other neighboring sites such as Palenque, Chichén Itzá, Comalcalco, among others.

It was inaugurated in November 2012 and its building was designed by the architect Alberto García Lascurain, with avant-garde architectural styles and a notorious respect for the environment. It also has modern security, conservation and lighting systems for the audio and multimedia collections and exhibitions.

It is located in the Hotel Zone, one side of the archaeological zone of San Miguelito, so you can visit both places.
