Hotel Warwick Cayo Santa Maria is the newest 5 star resort in Cayo Santa Maria, one of the top 20 destinations in the world according to leading tour operators and one of the keys forming the archipelago Jardines del Rey (part of the UNESCO-protected Buenavista Biosphere Reserve).
The resort is located on the eastern area of Cayo Santa María, next to Hotel Ocean Casa del Mar and not far from Valentina Perla Blanca.
It is modern and gorgeous! Upon arrival you enter a large lobby which allows you a wonderful view of the beautifully landscaped pool. The 800 rooms are spread among 16 three-storey buildings that are surrounded by lush gardens and offer a contemporary design. The hotel is all decorated in live colors and nicely furnished plus being brand new (opened on August 15, 2015) everything is still sparkling.
It’s not a very big resort so one will get quickly to all bars, restaurants, and the beach which is also rather small but truly beautiful and intimate (since you can’t really see the other resorts nearby); of turquoise water, white sands and offering various water sport options.
Food and drinks are really good, according to most guests’ comments. The staff is welcoming and caring. Kids have their own mini-club, playground and pool on top of mini-disco and other activities for children of all ages.
Cayo Santa María is reached by way of a 50km causeway connecting the city of Caibarién, in the Cuban province of Villa Clara, with the 3 islands: Cayo Las Brujas, Cayo Ensenachos and Cayo Santa María.
