Traveler's checks and credit cards are admitted {whenever they are not emitted by North American banks} MasterCard, Visa International, JCB, Access, Banamex, Bancomer, Carnet and Diners Club International.

In banks and hotels for the international tourism the American and Canadian Dollars are accepted, as well as Sterling Pound, Japanese Yen, Mexican Peso, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Crowns, Austrian Shilling, Portuguese Shield and the Euro, among others.
