HEALTH 
The Cuban health system counts on one of the most complete programs of primary
attention in the world, the lowest rate of infantile mortality in Latin America
and gratuitous service for the whole people.
The country has a doctor per 166 inhabitants.
EDUCATION
Education in Cuba is non-religious, gratuitous, and obligatory until the ninth
grade. Illiteracy was eradicated in 1961 and nowadays, the Cuban population
counts on a high educational level.
Near 800,000 Cubans are professionals in a population with little more than 11
million inhabitants.
