Overview:
Hotel Villa Las Brujas is an environmentally conscious inn-like property, built on piles on a rocky outcrop among the mangroves, boasts individual and duplex cottage-styled villas connected by a raised, rugged wooden walkway. At the end of the row of buildings, there's a long stretch of beautiful, unspoiled white-sand beach, which is seldom crowded, as there are only 24 rooms here.

The complex, comprised into a pristine wilderness, has several tourist services and cabins are well equipped. The rooms themselves are spacious and well appointed, with marble bathrooms, and separate sitting areas, making them all like mini-suites. All but five have ocean views. Of these, the second-floor units have the best views.

Cayo Las Brujas owns kilometers of coral reefs with a vast submarine fauna (it’s the world's second widest after the Australian reefs), where large shoals of tarpon, jacks, spadefish, groupers and barracudas provide a special attraction for divers. Anglers also could find something to do around here. Tarpon, up to 120 lbs +, are one of the primary target species at this site. Combine this with other species such as Snook to 30lbs, Jack Crevalle to 30lbs, Barracuda, Dorado, Albacore, Sierra Mackerel, and an assortment of other species in the Jack family such as Horse-eye Jacks and Amberjacks, as well as Snappers like Cubera Snappers & Red Snappers, give the angler a wide variety of different species to catch. Tarpon, Snook and Jacks can be pursued with a fly rod while conventional stand up gear can be used for fishing the reefs or trolling for Barracuda, Mackerel and Snappers.

This is a special destination for the travellers looking for something different, or a stopover site during a trip along Cuba.

Nearby you will find an airstrip where small and medium size planes can operate (land and take off).
