Formerly one of Jamaica's SuperClubs and one of the nicest resorts among Holguin hotels, hotel Playa Costa Verde has a crisp contemporary feel. Hotel could undergo a refurbishment but offers great all-inclusive values with extras such as continental-breakfast, room service and around-the-clock food and beverage service, including a 24 hour lobby bar. Honeymooners and anniversary couples will appreciate the bonus inclusions, and families will enjoy the kids' club with its own pool.

Book the “ A la Carte” restaurants early, preferably on your arrival. It can be difficult to book later on. The Japanese restaurant has the best reviews – again book early! It can be complicated. Steakhouse also has good feedback and great notes on the huge fillets.
Like most all-inclusive resorts, Hotel Playa Costa Verde offers entertainment at night as well. Depending on taste and expectations, reviews vary widely but very good notes on the swimming dancing show.
Beach might not the best around for it has some rocky spots. However location is beautiful as the hotel is between the ocean and the mountains. Maybe it is a good idea to bring rubber beach shoes.
