Set next to a reconstructed Taino Indian village and accessed across a large lake in mangrove swamps, is charming Guamá. The journey through the province of Matanzas (from North to South) is full of exciting activities and is also a wonderful opportunity to witness some Cuban flora and fauna.

The tour is a mixture of nature, culture and history. It includes a visit to a crocodile breeding farm and to the Museum of Girón, where you’ll get the feeling of going back in time remembering the Cuban people's defeat of the mercenaries who invaded Cuba along this part of the coast in April 1961.

A stay in Caleta Buena is also included, a sensational landscape, among rocks, sand and underground water. Amazing natural pools surround this place of unique beauty. You’ll have spare time to go swimming and snorkeling in this wonderful spot. After a pause for lunch there will be a boat ride along the “Treasure Lake” to Guamá Tourism Center. You can visit a replica of a Taino Village where there are man sculptures created by the famous Cuban artist Rita Longa, resembling the original Cuban inhabitants.
