It is located in an old bungalow style house made of wood and tiled roof, just like the ones that were very common in Varadero in the 20´s from the last century, when it started to be a very well known place for vacation.

The museum has been in this house since 1981, and treasures the history of the town thanks to an exposition of photographs, documents, maps and objects corresponding to the Varadero of the 1st half of the XX century. Its visit allows appreciating the evolution of the resort through time.
