The resort is large, but walking through the well-maintained grounds is a pleasure. It is located by a great beach with fantastic snorkeling right off the shores of the resort. Catamaran rides out are also included.

The bar by the pool is where the great fun is. Great people and fantastic environment. But you can also alternate with the quiet pool between the 24Hrs bar and El Benny's. The far end of the beach is also a quiet and calm place to hang out.

There is a small restaurant just outside the resort called "El cayuelo" with good service and nice food. It is quite visited by this resort's guests to enjoy a meal while enjoying the ocean view.

Taxi ride there is about five minutes away.

If you decide to go to Guardalavaca be sure to take a trip to Santiago de Cuba, take a carriage ride (stops near the hotel), go on a snorkeling trip and visit the souvenir market just outside the hotel.
